01 Radiohead - Ful Stop
This tune reminds me of early 70s German psychedelia, with the added bonus of an early 70s German metronomic beat. This is from A Moon Shaped Pool, the Oxford quintets 9th album. Released in 2016  on the XL label and again produced by Nigel Godrich. B

02 Vulfmon - I Can't Party
Gimme more funny songs from Vulfpeck spinoff projects. O)))

03 ENNY - No More Naija Men
O)))

04 Nightmares On Wax - Groove St.
There is absolutely nothing musically great about this song, but its a great break from reality. You listen to it, forget whatever is happening for the 7 minutes, and then get jolted back into existence when it ends. JC

05 The Pop Group - We Are All Prostitutes
The noise skronk debut single, released in  1979 on Rough Trade records. Band leader Mark Stewart just passed away on Apr 21 and I wanted a way to honor him. This track is just ferocious and still sounds futuristic and confrontational 44 years later.  Produced by Dennis Bovell. B

06 Speed Babes - Gimme All The Stuff
This spring my YouTube consumption has been a lot of fishing shows. For years there's been a great youtuber/podcaster that puts together cool videos about all kinds of different fishing adventures and he's got a great ear for east coast punk and garage rock. His name's Joe Cermele. He's had shows put out by Field and Stream and Meat Eater and I'm always going back through them checking out Bandcamp pages and stuff. Speed Babes were a great example of a band that made not catching fish look like a good time. O)))

07 Purling Hiss - Drag On Girard
Nothing revolutionary here, just hard hitting, fuzzed out rock and roll. These guys really excel at what they do, also, maybe one of the best band names I've ever heard. JC

08 Diarrhea Planet - Bob Dylan's Grandma
These guys broke up years ago, but have a little more straightforward punky garage rock about dumb shit. These guys were great about stopping and restarting songs and I love how many beginnings are crammed into this 3 minutes. O)))

09 A$AP Rocky ft Kendrick Lamar, Joey Bada$$, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, Big K.R.I.T. - 1Train
Man, you guys, I'm so out of touch with rap music these days. I just can't spend a ton of time listening to it. There is a) a lot of it! and b) its hard to separate the good from the bad. This track is so good though, love a song with a bunch of people giving it their all. Danny Brown's verse is *chef's kiss*. JC

10 El Combo Oscuro - El Ventarron
Last weekend was the return of the Austin Psych Fest. Lots of heavy hitters headlining, but plenty of quality acts were playing earlier slots. El Combo Oscuro was one of those bands, and I bet they were great to hear while sitting in the sun, enjoying cold beers. JC

11 Four Tet - Three Drums
A new single just appeared one day in early May, seemingly from out of nowhere. Kieran Hebden finally changes up his sound after several years of sameness. I am excited by this new street. (Now you watch, people will hate this track.) This one man band could only be from Putney in London. B

12 Funkadelic - Maggot Brain
This track has changed 3 times now. Sometimes it just seems like you picked the wrong song, and then suddenly the right choice just appears to you and it all makes sense. From the 1971 album (the bands 3rd) also called Maggot Brain, comes the incredible fire breathing guitar playing of Eddie Hazel. Let it burn burn burn. Released by Westbound Records. Created in the deepest soul of Detroit. B
